The lack of a centralized repository led to redundancy, version control issues, and a time-consuming asset retrieval process. The goal was to design a solution that optimizes asset management and ensures seamless collaboration.

Multiple versions of the same asset existed in various locations, leading to confusion, wasted storage space, and version control issues. This made it difficult to determine the most up-to-date and approved version.

A structured repository was created to store, categorize, and tag all assets. This included version control to prevent duplicate uploads and maintain a clear history of changes.

A robust tagging system was implemented, allowing users to manually add relevant keywords and tags to assets. This facilitates easier search and organization

AI-Powered Tagging

To further streamline the tagging process and improve accuracy, AI-powered tagging was integrated. The system automatically analyzes uploaded images and other assets to suggest relevant tags based on their content. Users can then review and approve the suggested tags, or add their own. This feature significantly reduces the manual effort required for tagging and ensures consistency in metadata. This includes:

Granular permissions were defined for designers, marketers, and admins, ensuring that each user group had access only to the assets they needed. Approval workflows were also implemented for uploading and using assets, ensuring brand consistency and quality control.
